I’m Steve Gowers, Owner and Managing Director of Education Dreams, and Education Dreams Early Years Limited.
After Graduating from The University of Greenwich I started my career in the city as an Junior Consultant, after working for, and then owning shares in successful Education Agencies. I set up Education Dreams in 2014.
Since then we have go from strength to strength and we operate an excellent business with core values of professionalism and teamwork.
In my spare time I’m a father of 2 wonderful children (Sophie & George), a devoted husband to my wife Victoria an avid West Ham United fan. I also enjoy travelling, eating out and socialising with my friends.
Managing Consultant Early Years
I'm a Recruitment Consultant within Education Dreams' Early Years sector, taking care of all Nursery placements and communications.
After graduation from Anglia Ruskin University, with a Degree in Zoology, I fell into a temp role with Education Dreams as a Candidate Resourcer and two years down the line I'm still here. After quickly progressing through positions I am now heading the Early Years team; building fantastic relationships with both candidates and nurseries.
In my spare time you can often find me engrossed in a book (thriller, nature, or popular science), or watching nature and crime documentaries and crime dramas (Criminal Minds is my absolute favourite). As a self-proclaimed nature fanatic, you can often find me reading or watching anything animal related and regularly take trips out to nature reserves.
I'm a stationary fiend, and well known in the office for having outrageous fluffy and glittery pens.
Managing Consultant for Schools
I am a Managing consultant at Education Dreams specialising in both primary and secondary school requirements.
After around 18 years of selling cars I made the switch over to recruitment by joining Steve and hist team and have not looked back since.
In my time away from work I can often be found in my garage working on a car that I am restoring, or fixing something as I'm unable to sit still for long!
